About the Role

  • Facilitate the timely submission of activity data by managing monthly (and ad-hoc) data collections and reporting processes, including the processing and completion of validation errors.
  • Perform data maintenance activities on both the Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR) and the Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), complete ward/unit builds, undertake duplicate management and quality audits to ensure data quality and patient safety, including regular liaison with clinical and administrative staff.
  • Investigate and resolve potential data discrepancies in patient medical records, utilising hospital information systems, linked information systems and audit trails as reported.
  • Conduct quality audits relating to Health Information Management Services including measurement, report preparation, recommendations, and presentation of results.
  • Manage and maintain HBCIS, and the ieMR to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
