About the role
Our small, dynamic and passionate team is seeking an experienced mental health clinician to provide evidence based treatment to people affected by eating disorders from our community facility based in Indooroopilly.
As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to deliver individual and group therapeutic programs designed to support people affected by eating disorders, their families and support networks, as well as provide supportive education, consultation and supervision to clinicians across Queensland.
We offer flexible working arrangements and are ideally located across the road from Westfield Indooroopilly, with many commuting options and street parking.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate complex system psychosocial assessments, case formulations and family interventions including education and skills-based training for carers and families of patients with eating disorders.
- Provide evidence-based outpatient treatment for adults with eating disorders and their families for example Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Enhanced (CBT-E) and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM).
- Provide clinical leadership and participate in the identification, development, implementation and evaluation of quality, service improvement and/or research activities that enhance the delivery of clinical services and eating disorder practices, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care, improve consumer care, and contribute to the development of an innovative state-wide eating disorders service.
