About the Role
As an Inspector of Mines, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that mining and quarrying operations maintain acceptable risk levels. Your responsibilities include:
- Working across various metal and hard rock mine sites, both underground and surface.
- Providing regulatory and technical advice on safety and health to industry, government, and community stakeholders.
- Planning your day-to-day activities with autonomy, offering variety and challenges.
This role offers you the chance to influence industry practices while enjoying diversity and work-life balance in your career.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- 5-10 years of experience in underground metal/hard rock mining.
- A Diploma-level competency or higher in underground mining.
- Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
