Permanent part time opportunity to deliver high quality, evidence based occupational therapy assessment, formulation and treatment services for adult inpatients of the mental health unit at Metro North Mental Health -The Prince Charles Hospital (MNMH-TPCH).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Ensure consumers, carers and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds.
• Deliver competent level, evidence based, occupational therapy services as a member of a multidisciplinary team, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
• Provide competent level of occupational therapy advice and education to the multidisciplinary team, operational supervisors, and key stakeholders such as government and non-government support roles, carers and family members as required.
• Participate in the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols and other quality and service improvement and research activities within the Mental Health Service to continually improve consumer care.
