About the role
Provide and maintain a highly responsive and effective administrative support and customer service function to the 24 hour Emergency Department Reception. Contribute to patient flow by performing a support role to nursing and medical staff in the department.
About you

- Technical Knowledge
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of basic medical terminology to extract and interpret pertinent information from patient medical records and hospital information systems - Proficiency in the application of internal hospital information systems in addition to Microsoft Word and Excel
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
Mandatory Requirements:
- This position is required to work as part of a 24 hour/ 7 day a week roster.
- This position is required to work public holidays and therefore an entitlement of 6 weeks annual leave will be provided.
- This position may be required to work across the various facilities throughout the West Moreton Health.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
