As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be providing a vital service to customers assessing their current and future health, safety and independence requirements and identify solutions for appropriate housing and modifications.

Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised tertiary institution and be registered or eligible for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

2 positions available: 1 x Permanent Full-Time & 1 x Temporary Part-Time.

What you will be doing:
• Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment, expertise and advice for customers requiring home modifications, transfers, tenancy management or housing assistance.
• Work closely with allied health or other service partners to flexibly deliver services to customers on-line, by telephone or in person with a focus on safety, service excellence and quality outcomes.
• Contribute to the design and review of new accessible social housing properties.
• Prepare and maintain high quality reports and customer records consistent with departmental and professional requirements.
