The Intestacy Entitlement Unit (IEU) is a specialist unit within the Queensland Public Trustee (QPT)'s Customer Experience and Delivery (CED) program. The primary role of the IEU is to enable the establishment of the beneficial entitlement to intestate and testate estates.

This specific role will assist in the provision of genealogical services by conducting investigations relating to the entitlement of next of kin potentially entitled in intestate estates and may require genealogical research in both Australia and overseas.
