We are seeking a skilled and highly organised Senior Executive Assistant who will be instrumental in producing high-quality documents and managing official correspondence with precision. As a key liaison for the Deputy Director-General, you will build and maintain strong relationships with important stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication that underpins effective decision-making and contributes to the overall success of our organisation.

Join the dynamic team at the Office of the Deputy Director-General within the Environment and Heritage Policy and Programs Division or the Corporate Services Division.
About the role:
This role demands excellent organisational skills for calendar and travel management, along with meeting coordination, including agendas and minutes. Your role is pivotal in liaising with senior officers and ensuring divisional correspondence aligns with executive requirements.

About you:
• Demonstrated ability to be a positive contributor to a small, dynamic, multidisciplinary team with a genuine commitment collaborative and service-oriented team environment.
• Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills including the desire and ability to build effective working relationships that to support collaborative communication, consultation, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated well-developed ability to research, analyse and provide accurate advice based on evidence.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as an effective team member, meet deadlines, establish priorities, and successfully contribute to organisational objectives.
• Demonstrated well-developed skills to coordinate and contribute to complex projects and activities.

There are two positions is available in Brisbane, one permanent full-time and one fixed term temporary full-time for nine months with the possibility of an extension, please indicate your preference for this role on your application.
