As an Executive Support Officer, you’ll work closely with the Executive Officer and Executive Director to deliver on vital executive support services including providing advice on key corporate governance matters. You’ll also be able use your creativity and critical thinking skills to both lead and contribute to projects that will benefit the dedicated workforce around you. As the Executive Support Officer, you will:
- Provide advice to senior team members, management and other key stakeholders and clients on a broad range of strategic and operational HR management policies, procedures, systems, practises and workforce management issues.
- Liaise with Human Resources, Corporate Services to assist in the provision of information and reports relating to issues and incidents.
- Contribute to implementing financial and budget management practices and processes including corporate card.
- Provide advice in the purchase and management of assets, inventory items and other goods and services.
- Support the divisions budget management strategies through accurate reporting and record entry.
- Assist in drafting correspondence, reports, submissions, and routine administrative, right to information, human resources, and financial paperwork.
- Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
