Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service are seeking a Fellow - Plastic Surgery to join our Plastic Surgery department to provide high quality plastic surgical/medical management as well as advanced subspeciality services across the SCHHS. Along with trauma, the role will also include breast reconstruction, skin lists, head and neck cancer reconstruction and microsurgery.

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provision of Plastic Surgery services to patients in accordance with the standards of the discipline and ethics of the profession
  • Enable Clinical pathways and early discharge procedures
  • Specific duties may involve ward rounds, outpatient services, procedural work, Multidisciplinary team meetings and collaboration with the other medical team or other professional streams
  • Participate in the on-call roster to provide after-hours services in accordance with the needs of the Health service

Salary rates: $4,966.90 - $6,980.10 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L4 - L9, L10 - L13) (temporary full-time position, 76 hrs p.f.) for up to 12 months.
