As the Senior Liaison and Engagement Officer you will be responsible for assisting the Division to understand customer needs and to support customers in the uptake of available products and services.
This position is instrumental in the delivery of Spatial Information (SI) client engagement activities, providing support to the SI Client Engagement team, and SI Business Units, as well as coordinating internal and external communications and engagement. This will involve the creation of engagement assets. Conducting research and analysis to understand the scope, scale and complexity of stakeholder requirements. With clear, consistent messaging.

About the role:
In this role you will:
• Develop and implement methods to understand market trends and customer segments and analyse and report on results.
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of Spatial Information deliverables, client engagement strategies, events and initiatives.
• Develop strategies to increase awareness of Spatial Information products and services.
• Conduct business analysis and business intelligence modelling to help provide advice to senior management and staff on key business issues.
• Organise the development of promotional resources and collateral to support Spatial Information initiatives and achievements.
• Research, identify and report on instances where customers have developed innovative uses for Spatial Information.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Spatial Information staff, and Resources Corporate Communications and Web Services Business Units.
• Other duties as directed and required.
What we're looking for:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex projects and business processes.
• Event management experience (for in-person and virtual events) would be highly regarded.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and email marketing programs like Vision6 would be highly regarded
