Temporary part-time role available for 12 months (up to 40 hours p.f.)

About the role

This role provides strong governance, patient advocacy and engagement with the health system, through multiple domains of responsibility including, but not limited to; clinical care, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, communication and engagement with North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS) services and external agencies.

Requirements

• Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
• Current specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia and relevant College Fellowship with ACEM, ACCRM, RACGP, RACP.
• The position requires the incumbent required to undergo the credentialing and scope of clinical practice process in accordance with NWHHS policy.
• The position requires the incumbent to fulfil clinical on-call (stand by) requirements of the NWHHS in line with their approved scope of clinical practice.
• The successful applicant will be appointed between classifications level 13 to Level 25 in accordance with QLD Health – Classification Structure.
• While not mandatory an interest in the Public and/or Indigenous Health would be well regarded.
• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
• Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
• This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
• A period of probation may apply.
