Your new Role:
Primarily based at Logan Hospital's Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, the role may also include clinical work and training at other Metro South facilities. Responsibilities encompass general obstetric and gynaecological care, including shared after-hours shifts, as well as participation in clinics to meet both core and elective requirements of the SRH training pathway.
This clinical position facilitates the completion of the Essential O&G Skills module and the Sexual and Reproductive Health Advanced Training Pathway (SRH-ATP).
About You:
We are looking for a Registrar in Advanced Training to join our team in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department!
- The role includes hands-on experience in general obstetrics and gynaecology as the acute registrar
- Provide guidance to junior house staff and liaise with nursing/midwifery staff and allied health professionals as clinically appropriate
- Be well-prepared to deliver high-quality, comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care and take on leadership roles in the field.
- Evaluate all patients referred to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit by the Emergency Department or other inpatient units, and promptly notify the Duty Consultant to facilitate a specialist review and opinion.
