Laidley State High School are seeking applications for a FlexiSpace teacher. This position is ideal for innovate and flexible Mathematics or English Teachers who would like to work in a bespoke classroom environment for part of their full-time timetable implementing Australian curriculum with innovate pedagogies and targeted strategies to support a smaller group of students in the area of Mathematics and/or English. This will be a component of the timetable with the remainder being made up of mainstream teaching in the successful applicants teaching areas.

Our FlexiSpace Teacher will ideally be:
• An experienced teacher with expertise in, or knowledge of inclusive practice; or a teacher who is committed to rapidly developing their skills and knowledge of inclusive practice;
• committed to ensuring students achieve quality educational outcomes by providing uninterrupted access to the curriculum; and high-impact teaching
• committed to differentiating teaching practice and educational program delivery to meet student needs;
• committed to using and sharing inclusive teaching sharing practice with all staff;
• committed to working with parents/carers, internal support staff and external agencies to support student learning, engagement and wellbeing.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
