As a member of the Office of the Deputy Director-General and Chief Biosecurity Officer you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of executive services to the DDG/CBO and Biosecurity Leadership team while also
supporting biosecurity activities across the business group.
In the position of the Senior Project Officer (Health Safety and Wellbeing), you will:
· Provide support and coordinate the delivery of key projects under Biosecurity Queensland's WHS Capability Uplift Project.
· Develop and coordinate the implementation of relevant policies, standard operating procedures, reporting process and other activities supporting the effective delivery of a safety management framework in BQ.
· Build and maintain strong working relationships with operational staff across BQ. This may include establishing and managing networks focussing on sharing information and communication relating to safe work management.
· Coordinate project documentation, reporting and rituals.
· Coordinate with business areas across the department and external providers to manage the delivery of training packages.
