Senior Support Officer

You will work with the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships (QPWS&P) Information Technology team, in collaboration with internal business clients, to deliver digital information and infrastructure solutions within defined resource and policy parameters, for best practice management of assets, and operational data collection and reporting.

QPWS&P is a diverse agency, requiring adaptable and innovative information solutions in a variety of operating environments, across a variety of clients and digital functional capacities. You will be required to apply and share your contemporary digital knowledge and experience, in a manner considerate of diverse environmental and client needs, to contribute to QPWS&P’s best practice management of operational digital information and system services, efficiently across diverse data fields.

As the Senior Support Officer (AO5) you will:

• Contribute to the coordination and maintenance of enterprise applications to manage business critical systems and data in a collaborative data management environment.
• Monitor resources within agreed work timeframes against forecasts and complete other general tasks as required.
• Continually update and maintain knowledge of specific applications and business technical requirements in the support of in-house enterprise applications to maximise efficiencies in data management.
• Maintain enterprise applications in accordance with policies, standards and practices.
• Work autonomously to provide end to end support of enterprise applications to ensure defined service levels are met, in information and asset management.
• Assist in the development and review of Business and Operational Plans that link with Departmental and branch outcomes in collaborative data management and single system development.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
