An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Senior Contracts and Procurement Officer to join the Contracts Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

• Reporting to the Director (Contracts and Commercial Management) the Senior Contract and Procurement Officer has an integral role in conducting procurement activities for the provision of good and services and the management of contracts and agreements to minimise commercial risks for the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
• The Contracts and Commercial Management unit is primarily responsible for the planning, design, implementation and ongoing engagement of service delivery agreements with both public and private entities. The unit is accountable for the establishment and management of a Procurement and Contracts Management function for WBHHS.

Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.)  from 14th April 2025 until 3rd June 2025 with the possibility of extension

You will receive a competitive salary between $5,214.20 - $5,595.80 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from 14th April 2025 until 3rd June 2025 with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
