Police Communication Operators work within a dynamic environment, that is committed to providing superior, client focused ‘Triple Zero Call Taking and Police Dispatch’ services across Queensland in response to community requests for assistance.

Your role will include:

• Answering Triple Zero (000) emergency calls for service from the Qld public in challenging situations
• Accurately recording important time critical information from callers
• Identify and allocate resources to life threatening or significant situations
• Accurately relay information to operational police officers
• Answering routine telephone requests for assistance from the public

Police Communications Operators are required to work shift work (24/7), including weekends and public holidays
