BreastScreen Queensland operates from a state-of-the-art, fully equipped screening and assessment facility in Townsville and also provides a mobile screening service to 24 regional, remote and rural sites within the northern Queensland Region.

BreastScreen Queensland is currently seeking a senior radiographer/mammographer who will be a highly valued member of a multidisciplinary team performing high-quality mammograms, participating in assessment clinics, and providing a high standard of care, support, and advice to clients. This is a permanent part-time position, working 38 hours per fortnight.

About the opportunity:

Position: BreastScreen Radiographer / Mammographer Senior

Vacancy: Permanent part-time, 38 hours per fortnight

Location: BreastScreen Queensland, Townsville

Enjoy a generous remuneration package value up to $78,680 p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range: $64.64 to $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)
  • Possession of a Statement of Registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Register (ASAR) if utilising ultrasound skills.
  • Possession of class C drivers' licence.
  • Travel is a requirement of this position.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
