As a Project Manager within the Office of the Coordinator-General, you will take a whole of government and industry perspective on key strategic issues, contribute to strategic decision making and work collaboratively to deliver the Coordinator General’s (CG) priorities and the Government’s objectives and commitments to the community of Queensland.
Lead and deliver a range of complex and diverse projects for government, leveraging the powers of the CG, to drive economic development through industry and infrastructure delivery and successful regional economic
transition.

Your Responsibilities:
• Develop, facilitate and support delivery of a range of complex and diverse projects for government that drive economic development and infrastructure initiatives.
• Ensure effective and solutions focused briefing of senior leadership and in support of governance processes.
• Manage complex negotiations to achieve strategic economic goals and project delivery outcomes.
• Build sustained relationships with key government and private stakeholders to support facilitation, assessment and delivery of capital projects.
• Support the oversight of a portfolio of projects, including budget, risk and issues and compliance matters.
• Develop advice that considers strategic government objectives and leverages the powers of the CG to plan and deliver projects.
• Create a safe workplace environment that supports wellbeing and values diversity and inclusion; and enables collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation.
• Contribute and nurture the positive and inclusive culture of the MPD team and the Office of the Coordinator-General more broadly.
