After training apply independent scientific judgement in the analysis of patient specimens leading to the verification and validation of test results and the provision of advice to the clinical unit where appropriate. Solve complex technical problems with minimal practice supervision.

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Develop knowledge and skills in the various disciplines of medical science.
- Use effective communication skills while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Apply logical problem-solving skills to specific scientific problems.
- Adapt to various situations that develop personal resilience.
Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- The successful applicant must hold at least a relevant tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Medical Laboratory Science.
- During the training period the Graduate will be expected to work on a shift roster for a minimum of 4 weeks.
- Please detail any visa conditions you may have if you are not a permanent resident of Australia.
