About the role
To provide efficient and effective Patient Support Services within for staff accommodations and offices close to the Redcliffe Facility campus.
- Regularly perform routine cleaning duties in non-clinical areas for staff accommodations and offices situated around the Redcliffe Facility Campus.
- Provide waste and linen services for staff accommodations and non-clinical areas situated around the Redcliffe Facility Campus.
- Rotational shifts e.g. (day & afternoon), 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays may apply depending on shift and area rostered.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations, standards and duty statements which impact upon the position, including contemporary Human Resource Management Requirements and Practices, Workplace Health and Safety, Code of Conduct, Equal Employment Opportunity and Health Equity and Racism.
- Compliance with all Metro North Health Mandatory Training requirements, participation in in-service training as required, and to comply with all directions that are commensurate with the 002 level as outlined in the Queensland Health Operational Services Manual.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Removal of general/clinical and recyclable waste and soiled linen and the transportation of clean linen imprest trolleys in appropriate containers to the designated stations in accordance with Infection Control and local Guidelines.
- Undertake tasks within the scope of an Operational Officer as directed by the Shift Supervisor, Site Coordinator or Manager Facility and Support Services to assist in the delivery of safe, efficient cleaning services.
- This position requires the incumbent to be in possession of a ‘C' Class Queensland Drivers Licence
