We are looking for an exceptional Radiology Consultant to join our Medical Imaging team within Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).
SCHHS Salary includes:
- Base salary comprising of between
- Staff Specialist L18 – L24 $100.77 - $117.05 p.h.
- Senior Staff Specialist L25 - L27 - $120.51 - $127.77 p.h.
- Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
- Staff Specialist L18 – L24 $21,000 p.a.
- Senior Staff Specialist L25 – L27 $25,500 p.a.
- Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)
- Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 50% of base salary (if on assignment model)
- Retention of Private Practice Earnings (if on retention model)

The role of the Staff Specialist / Senior Staff Specialist (Radiology and/or Nuclear Medicine) is responsible for providing high quality Medical Imaging services and patient care within the SCHHS.
The Medical Imaging Service provides comprehensive diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine services. A satellite service is provided to the Department of Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care Unit, the Interventional Suite, Neonatal Unit, Inpatient Units and Outpatient services. The Department of Emergency Medicine satellite site is staffed 24 hours a day while Interventional Radiology is provided on an on-call basis with appropriate rostering to those clinical areas as operationally required.
