Your opportunity: 

  • The WBMHSS Allied Health Cadetship Program provides an increase to access and efficiency of allied health services.
  • The HP1 is reserved for employees undertaking pre-entry education in a relevant health profession, who will apply their existing knowledge and skills in their given discipline to perform basic duties under close clinical practice supervision of an experienced health practitioner.
  • There is an active focus on building knowledge and skill ins in their given domain.
  • The role focusses on developing and building clinical competency by providing the opportunity for active participation in workplace training, assessment and feedback processes for HP1 Allied Health Students/Trainees.
  • Performing within this role will be in accordance with the Queensland Health Guidance Note for Employing Health Practitioner 1 and Allied Health Assistants.

Two Positions, Temporary Part Time, 45.6 hrs p.f. until the 30th June 2025 with the possibility of extension

Our offer:  You will receive competitive salary rates between $30.95 - $36.41 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP1) (Two Positions, Temporary Part Time, 45.6 hrs p.f. until the 30th June 2025 with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
