An exciting opportunity exists for a Storeperson in Food Services.  Improving the patient's experience is the focus of your daily tasks, both directly and indirectly. You will maintain the Store for Food Services, ordering and recording food supplies while observing Food Safety requirements.  

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

You will work as part of a larger team in a state-of-the-art kitchen facility and dedicated kitchen dock, interacting with Food Services staff, supply officers, the SCUH Coordinator Supply and Logistics and other internal customers. As the Storeperson, your close and collaborative working relationship with the Head Chef is criticial to ensure kitchen and food supplies are readily available to the meet the timely needs of the 14 day menu and patient meal delivery schedule.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Comply with the SCUH Food Safety Magement System (FSMS) and asssist the Food Services team in reviewing the FSMS to comply with the Food Act 2006 and Food Standards Code.
  • Electronically monitor the temperature of all cold and frozen goods received using digital temperature monitoring systems (Monika) or probing manually.
  • Familiarity with online-shopping portals and ordering systems.
  • Monitor and check invoices and enter invoices into Qld Health Inventory Management software (S4HANA).

Salary between $67,462- $70,712 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO3) (permanent full time, 76 hrs p.f.).
