Key responsibilities
As the Advisor (Marketing & Communication), you will be an active member of the multi-disciplinary communication unit comprising of marketing and communication, organisational communication, and creative services teams that contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the department's communication function. The marketing and communication team provides critical business communication to a wide range of stakeholders. In this role, you will develop and deliver integrated and responsive outcomes using contemporary marketing and communication platforms and practices that contribute to building a positive workplace culture, elevating TMR's brand and achieving departmental business priorities and strategic objectives.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Working within a team: Coordinate day-to-day activities with the marketing and communication team to ensure the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of engaging and persuasive contemporary products and services for a broad audience using a range of communication mediums.
• Marketing and Communication Content Creation: Research, plan and prepare a variety of engaging contemporary communication and digital marketing materials, products and services that contribute to the achievement of TMR's business priorities and strategic objectives.
• Internal and External Stakeholder Engagement: Build effective relationships with content providers, key internal customers, and business groups to achieve a seamless approach to the development and implementation of contemporary marketing, advertising and persuasive communication content.
• Marketing and Communication Governance and Risk Management: Analyse information to proactively identify risks to the team's planned activities and evaluate possible solutions to take appropriate steps to mitigate risks.
This position reports to the Principal Advisor (Marketing and Communication).

Requirements of the role
• Digital Communication Skills: Extensive copywriting, editing, and proofing experience in developing targeted and persuasive content in a digital environment.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional relationship-building skills.
• Organisational Abilities: Strong organisational, resource and time management skills and outstanding attention to detail.
Highly desirable - A Bachelor's degree in Communication, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Public Relations or similar higher qualification, or at least five years of relevant experience in communication, marketing, public relations, or relevant environments.
