As a member of the Court Technology Projects (CTP) team, the role of Project Support Officer will work closely with the Project Managers to co-ordinate all routine procurement activities with AV suppliers on behalf of project managers, including acting as the primarily administrative contact for external vendors.

This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution by providing clear, comprehensive and well-structured documentation. You will be required to work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technical specialists, external vendors and procurement to ensure all accurate documentation and reporting of schedule and financial status and milestones.
As the Project Support Officer, you will:
- Provide project support, ensuring the project aligns with DSP Program strategies and ways of working including standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques.
- Assist with undertaking procurement and financial management activities, including raising Purchase Orders, processing payments of invoices, assisting with financial reporting and budget tracking.
- Participate in procurement activities, including contributing to and reviewing documentation, releasing requests for quotes, collating responses and supporting evaluation and negotiation processes.
- Assist with the identification, planning and tracking of project activities and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key vendors to ensure efficient and effective administration of projects and assist with proactive management of vendor performance against Key Performance Indicators.
- Participate in project governance activities and undertake project secretariat functions including preparation for project board meetings, developing meeting minutes and following up actions.
- Undertake best practice processes and draw on professional experience and expertise to present clear and independent advice and ensure timely communication to management around the progression of project deliverables.
- Provide high level advice on relevant policy, legislation and procedures, including the preparation of reports, briefings and ministerial correspondence.
- Perform other essential duties and tasks specific to the position as required.
- Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in preparing, reviewing and updating project, procurement and financial documentation
- Skills to negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among stakeholders with different interests and objectives.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including cross-functional teams, and to build consensus around proposed solutions.
