The successful applicant will manage the aviation and public passenger transport service contracts with Translink's delivery partners, handle disputes, analyse performance data and lead complex negotiations with multi-discipline teams.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Manage aviation and public passenger transport service contracts with Translink delivery partners. Assist the Manager (Contracts) and other team members ensuring that all parties' obligations are met through the implementation of contract administration frameworks.
- Establish effective working relationships with Translink passenger transport service providers to implement and successfully deliver performance management Planning and undertaking regular contract meetings with delivery partners to monitor and recommend service performance improvements. Manage disputes and performance issues. Analyse a wide variety of Translink passenger transport service providers and performance related information using multiple tools and systems.
- Lead negotiations and manage multi-discipline negotiation teams in complex environments working with legal, financial and other parties as required. Demonstrates an effective understanding of negotiation dynamics and consistently utilises successful influencing behaviours.
- Develop high-quality correspondence and business documents to assist in contract variations and extensions for existing services in collaboration with Finance, Legal Services, and Procurement stakeholders. Present confidently and effectively to peers, suppliers and executive stakeholders.
- Manage the development, review and endorse clear and concise contractual documentation for more complex, medium to high-risk contracts.
Requirements of the role:
- Experience in commercial or performance-based contract management practices will be highly regarded.
- Ability to successfully form strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse service contract data and performance information to proactively form evidence-based recommendations to executive management.
- Demonstrated sound governance by modelling ethical decision-making processes and abiding by government probity requirements.
- Upholds integrity through responsible management and use of processes and resources.
- Qualifications in commerce, accounting, economics, law or contract administration will be highly regarded.
- Travel to regional centres and remote communities when required.
