The Medicine Department at Bayside Health Service is looking for a Staff Specialist - Endoscopy and Gastroenterology to join their team. The Medicine Department is primarily based at Redland Hospital within the Metro South Health Service District. We also provide outreach services to Pandanus Ward and Gundu-Pa Community Health Centre at Wynnum. The service provides care to patients with a broad range of medical conditions who live within the Redland Hospital catchment. A wide range of treatment options and support services are available at Redland Hospital that supports an integrated service delivery.

About the Role

• To provide high quality services in the field of Gastroenterology within the Bayside Health Service
• Participate in quality assurance and clinical governance within the department and contribute to the expansion of gastroenterology service delivery within the Bayside Health Service.
• Provide training, education and supervision to junior medical staff and other health care members.
