QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.
About the role
You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by providing exceptional administrative support.
Duties and skills involved:
Providing high quality and efficient customer service to QBuild customers, with a dedication to customer satisfaction, aiming to achieve both customer and business objectives.
- Providing a high level of administrative support to the Program Manager Performance Reporting and Project Support Officers, Capital Reporting Team, including effectively undertaking general administration functions as required.
- Supporting the monitoring, progress and reporting of QBuild's intake process, to enable the timely creation of capital projects.
- Effectively monitoring and managing internal and external correspondence (including multiple, high-volume electronic mailboxes), demonstrating initiative and being a team player by appropriately handling or escalating enquiries as required.
- Measuring and monitoring program performance through use of KPIs and business processes.
- Developing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services.
- Positively contributing to the culture of the workplace, demonstrating professionalism, as well as a commitment to fostering the values of equity, respect and inclusion.
- Ensuring high standards of accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems.
- Developing and maintaining procedures, training manuals, work instructions and registers, while contributing to existing procedure and process improvements.
