Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high level executive support, workforce management, financial and operational services, and advice to the Executive Director (ED) and Investment and Commissioning management team.
- Participate in business planning, monitoring, and reporting processes.
- Deliver human resources support to the branch; including end to end recruitment, establishment, and the onboarding process.
- Develop, coordinate, and review departmental and ministerial briefing notes, correspondence and other material for the ED's consideration.
- Manage and monitor projects and policy initiatives, as directed by the ED.
- Liaise with departmental staff in the development of high-level events, meetings and workshops and provide a secretariat role as required.
- Coordinate, on behalf of the ED, the monitoring and reporting of performance in line with the branches business plan priorities.
- Manage the operation of the Office of the ED Investment and Commissioning, ensuring that office procedures and systems are efficient and that priorities are met, and deadlines are achieved, and the office team has clearly defined organisational and unit goals.
- Develop and enhance effective and efficient interfaces and relationships between the office of the Assistant Director-General, and teams within the Division, the department, senior departmental officers, statutory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
- Undertake projects to research, analyse and report on organisational and business improvement strategies as required.
