Role details
The Home and Community Services at the Bowen Hospital is seeking applications for a Home Care Worker to join their team on a casual basis.

Your opportunity
To provide high quality support services to frail, older people in order to maximise their independence at home and in the community. To be supported by a highly motivated, consumer focused Home Care Coordination Team, liaising closely with Community Allied Health Professionals.
About the Team
Bowen District Home Care Service is funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) to provide accessible, flexible and goal orientated basic support services. Our service is also an Approved Aged Care Provider, providing Home Packages to eligible consumers under Client Directed Care.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
