The National Fire Ant Eradication Program is looking for an experienced professional Manager Human Resources to work out of the Berrinba office in Logan to lead the Human Resources function including operations, learning and development, and health and safety teams.
This is a great opportunity to work closer to home, lead a team of HR professionals and positively champion HR strategies and initiatives across the Program.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Manager Human Resources who will:

  • work closely with the Executive Leadership team, to develop and embed strategies to grow a capable and sustainable workforce; one that is future ready, adaptive to changing environments, optimises opportunities and mitigates risk.
  • champion strategies that enable our workforce to deliver the Program's nation leading goals.
  • lead the efficient operation of the Program's human resources function through HR Operations, learning and development, and health and safety teams.

You will have the opportunity to work out of our Berrinba office located in Logan which is located approximately 18 mins south of Brisbane and approximately 30 mins north of the Gold Coast. Parking is available on-site.

What we are looking for

This role leads the Program's human resources function through HR Operations, Learning and Development and, Health and Safety and teams. Team leadership and HR experience and/or qualifications in HR would be desirable.

You will have a keen eye for detail, great leadership skills and effective problem solving skills. More than anything, you will have a positive attitude and make a great contribution to our National Fire Ant Eradication program.
