About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst within the Business Analysis Service - Digital Advisory and Transformation Services (DAT), will actively undertake business analysis activities to provide information, advice and support to external and internal clients in accordance with Queensland Health systems, policies and relevant legislation. Additionally, they will be providing specialised business analysis services and contributing to the delivery of key priority initiatives, helping advance the Digital Health agenda for one of Australia's leading Digital Health Service.
- This position reports to the Manager, Business Analysis Services, DAT, while also working under the guidance of other management within the Digital Architecture and Delivery Office (e.g., Project Manager).
- Adhere to service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies, and workplace procedures to ensure a high-quality and safe working environment.
- Capture and analyse ‘As-Is' and ‘To-Be' business process models using approved methods and tools.
- Develop business and software requirements specifications for IM/ICT projects, ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and executive customers to elicit and define business requirements.
- Provide a support and mentoring role for other business analysts within the program/project(s).
- Develop and document test scripts to validate functional design against business requirements, working closely with the test team to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
