As the Director, Statewide Operations you will be responsible for leadership, direction setting, stakeholder engagement and performance management of the Statewide Operations business unit within Payroll Transactional Services, Corporate Enterprise Solutions.
What you'll do
- Provide leadership and manage the efficient and effective delivery of business performance and improvement outcomes, including industrial and legislative amendments within the Statewide Operations business unit.
- Provide positive leadership to the Statewide Operations business unit through effective visioning, capability development, performance management, staff engagements and resource deployment.
- Lead and facilitate business improvement initiatives including the evaluation of current and future business performance in alignment with continuous improvement principles, overseeing key performance indicators and payroll communications.
- Effectively plan for, manage, and monitor resources (financial, physical, technological, and human) within the unit to align with strategic goals of the branch.
- Provide expert advice to the Senior Director, and a broad range of stakeholders on strategic and operational service issues and activities including membership of Departmental Change Advisory Boards and associated advisory committees.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- While not mandatory, professional and or tertiary level qualifications in areas such as business management or project management would be well regarded.
- Extensive experience leading service delivery in a large, diverse, and complex operating environment is highly desired.
- Leadership, management, and proven capability in a large and complex service delivery environment using payroll systems to deliver employee wages, salaries, and legislative entitlements.
