Administration Officer

The purpose of this position is to support the coordination and delivery of administrative services across the Integrity and Risk Division, with a focus on Queensland Building and Construction Commission's (QBCC) Board and Committees. Key responsibilities include booking travel, managing diaries and records, preparing meeting papers and reports, notetaking, procuring supplies, and supporting compliance with QBCC policies and procedures in a dynamic and growing division.

The position is based in Brisbane, and the successful candidate will have the option to engage in a work from home arrangement that suits the Division under an approved Flexible Work Arrangement.
Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all staff of the Commission and external customers.
- Organise meetings, conferences, appointments and travel arrangements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting.
- Liaise with the Executive Support Network to handle requests and queries from senior management
- Providing confidential, high quality administrative support to the Division.
Candidate Attributes

Demonstrated high-level administrative skills, including proficiency in computerised information systems, electronic document management systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail in the completion of administrative tasks.

Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks with minimal supervision.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with a range of stakeholders.
