About us: Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.

About your role:

  • Act as the primary decision maker for the CHHHS for all non-RTI/IP applications, in accordance with Health Information Disclosure and Access Guidelines (HIDAG), including but not limited to decisions involving statutory mechanisms, WorkCover, Personal Injuries Proceedings Act, Queensland Police Requests, Subpoenas and Search Warrants.
  • Coordinate completion of medical certificates, insurance questionnaires and doctor's reports with relevant clinicians or Departments.
  • Be the first point of telephone contact for general enquiries and information relating to Administrative Access, HIDAG, Workcover, Personal Injuries Proceeding Act, Queensland Police Service, Subpoena, Search Warrants/Summons and other elated requests and enquiries.
