An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Nurse (Informatics) to join the Nursing Services Team at the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay or Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

• The Nursing Informatics Clinical Nurse (NICN) uses their clinical nursing background and informatics knowledge to support the Nurse Manager Informatics (NMI) to improve patient centred outcomes and developing evidence-informed nursing practice by supporting and presenting technology-based solutions. The NICN supports the provision of a service that is organised for safety by ensuring that data and information measures are in place to capture the service that is delivered.

Our offer:

 You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $24,297 p.a., comprising salary rates $54.45 - $58.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Permanent Part Time,14 hours p.f.).
