Your new Role:

The role provides strategic and clinical leadership for Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Logan and Beaudesert Health Service, ensuring high-quality, safe, and improving care. It involves collaborating with stakeholders to align services with community needs and priorities, as well as co-leading education, training, and professional development initiatives in line with organizational goals and professional standards.

About You:

As a Director, you will align with Metro South Health's values, bringing your passion and expertise in allied health services to support growth. The role involves providing strategic and clinical leadership for Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Logan and Beaudesert Health Service, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and continually improving care. You will be responsible for:

• Demonstrating a deep understanding of best practices in allied health services.

• Taking accountability and fostering a supportive, engaging leadership style.

• Leading a close-knit team, effectively delegating tasks and responsibilities.

• Exercising exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Collaborating with consumers and stakeholders across the Women's & Children's Service Line, LBHS, and Metro South Health to align services with community needs and strategic priorities.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
