About the role
Casual opportunity to deliver a seamless patient experience by providing efficient bookings, admissions and reception/ward services for all patients, as well as to provide efficient utilisation of all services for consultants and clinicians. This role will undertake a wide range of duties while working in a team environment, rotating between various roles and all services within the STARS Administration Team.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Address phone calls professionally and courteously and ensure clinical questions are referred to the appropriate clinical area / clinician in a timely manner.
- Responsible for updating patient information systems, while ensuring data integrity and patient confidentiality.
- Understand and anticipate patient and service needs, including recognising potential issues, undertaking investigations to find and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Be willing and prepared to work within a rotational workforce, operating across other areas of STARS administrative team and fulfill other administrative functions as required.
