About the opportunity:

Position: Senior Speech Pathologist

Vacancy: Permanent part-time, 30.4 hours per fortnight

Location: Townsville University Hospital

The role is responsible for the provision of high-level clinical services for patients post brain injury and will provide specialised speech pathology services including initiating and leading service improvement, research, and quality activities. The role is part of multi-disciplinary team providing patient centred care in line with the organisational values and strategic directions.

  • Salary range: $64.64 to $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualifications (Tertiary degree or equivalent qualification in Speech Therapy/Pathology) and eligibility for practicing membership to Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Possession of class C drivers' licence.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance and Blue Card Checks.
