QEII Jubilee Hospital are looking for a Patient Flow Associate Manager to join their team. The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services and a 24-hour emergency department. The Patient Flow Associate Manager works alongside the Duty Nurse Manager within the After-Hours Nurse Manager Unit. The role strategically coordinates bed allocations for routine, emergency department and outpatient department admissions across the facility. The role facilitates inter-hospital transfers to and from surrounding hospitals.

About the Role
The Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) provides operational management in collaboration with the Duty Nurse Manager (NG7) in the After-hours Management Team, Division of Patient Flow. In supporting the NM, the ANM provides leadership and direction to Nursing staff and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of safe, quality and cost-effective nursing care consistent with contemporary standards and best practice.
The Duty Nurse Manager & Patient Flow Associate Manager roles provide support to the clinical teams and have advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning, and coordination skills in the clinical management of patients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met. The roles efficiently manage human resources to optimise patient safety and experience and ensures effective admission and discharge policies are in place to achieve optimal patient flow processes.
