The Division of Cancer Services are looking for a Permanent full time Manager Clinical Trials position. The Division of Cancer Services – Cancer Trials Unit (DOCS CTU) of the Princess Alexandra Hospital is dedicated to providing a high-quality service for the delivery of clinical research treatments for patients with cancer. The research conducted explores questions of optimal drug use, novel combination chemotherapies, targeted therapies, radiation therapy, new diagnostic tests, prognostic indices, best supportive care, molecular predictors of response and cost effectiveness.

About the Role
- Ensure the DOCS has streamlined and harmonised processes for all clinical trial start-ups, including but not limited to; feasibility, site selection visits, ethics applications, budget and contract negotiation, supervision planning, intellectual property logistics and management negotiation, study costing analysis, service group support applications and regulatory governance applications.
- Develop and promote a learning environment by mentoring and promoting team development and individual capacity building enabling an educated and sustainable clinical trial workforce.
- Ensure that the DOCS Clinical Trial units establish and maintain robust document management systems for site files and regulatory documents, and implement streamlined processes for recording trial activities and invoicing sponsors.
