About the role

Provide operational management and strategic leadership for an interprofessional team of health professionals in the QAS Falls Co Response Program (Falls CoRe). This is a metro wide service, with the program manager position leading the service across MSH and MNH catchments (0.5FTE employed in each HHS). Please note: the Metro South HHS and Metro North HHS QAS Falls Co-response, Program manager roles are being concurrently advertised. There is no requirement to apply to both role descriptions for this position. All applicants (MSH and MNH) will be pooled and considered together in the recruitment process. 

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • This role has a professional reporting line to the nominated Director Occupational Therapy (for Occupational Therapists) or Director Physiotherapy (for Physiotherapists), Community and Oral Health Directorates.
  • The Falls Co-response team provides a 7 day a week service, with 10-hour shifts. This position will be required to contribute to the roster clinical shifts. This role may be required to work weekends to provide service delivery and to support staff.
  • This role has Band 8 finance and HR delegations- Position reporting directly to a Band 7 delegate (or higher), with a direct responsibility for staff.
