Our Health Service is expanding! We have an opportunity for a Psychologist to join our team. In this role you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide high level psychological assessment and intervention to patients receiving clinical care for cancer and Palliative Care at Ipswich Hospital.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity (45.6 hours per fortnight)

About the role
The Psychologist (Senior) position provides high level psychological assessment and intervention to patients receiving clinical care for cancer and Palliative Care, as part of the Cancer Care and Palliative Care Outreach Service multi-disciplinary team at Ipswich Hospital.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Clinical Knowledge and Expertise
- High level clinical expertise and skill within a health setting, including neuropsychological assessment, formulation, and treatment skills. Knowledge of the provision of psychology services in a community health and/or hospital-based service.
Communication and Team Participation
- High level verbal and written skills in application to effective communication with patients, psychologists, and multi-disciplinary team members in a hospital and/or community health setting. Timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation of assessments and interventions, including chart entries, database entries, and psychology reports.
Service and Professional Development
- Commitment to continuous service improvement through leading quality improvement and research activities. Actively contributes to a learning environment through clinical supervision, mentoring, and skill sharing.

Mandatory Requirements:
