About your opportunity:
The purpose of the role is to lead, develop, identify and evaluate access improvement strategies for Endoscopy services through system improvement and reporting functions that optimise patient access to timely treatment options. The leadership role is pivotal to effective communication and systems improvement strategies designed to achieve standardisation of endoscopy services in line with Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health processes.
About your role:
- Lead and establish administrative processes that facilitate the efficient operation of clinical services, to support equitable access to specialist care and procedures through Implementation and monitoring of compliance initiatives, such as Clinical Prioritisation Criteria (CPC).
- Identify, investigate, escalate and develop potential solutions for validated program risks, within a timely fashion that will enhance service delivery and interdisciplinary functionality.
- Liaise and consult with key interdisciplinary leaders concerning all aspects of waitlist management, systems improvement and service optimisation (including revenue maximisation).
- Assist and advise key stakeholders at a facility and HHS level on systems and process issues impacting on the delivery of safe clinical care, through leading and facilitating waitlist and outcomes compliance auditing against facility, HHS, QH and National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) performance indicators.
