About us: Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will:

  • Be responsible for data collection of Obstetric Anaesthesia and Analgesia outcomes.
  • To provide supervision to junior anaesthetic trainees and other junior medical officers as required by the Director, Supervisors of Training or relevant consultant. At all times the Provisional Fellow will have access to Specialist Anaesthetist advice and assistance.
  • The Provisional Fellow will be required, once assessed as suitable by the Director and Provisional Fellowship Supervisor, to participate in the Consultant On-call Roster with Consultant Supervision.
