About your opportunity:
The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) People & Culture (P&C) division is undertaking a comprehensive reform to enhance workforce capability, operational efficiency, and service delivery. This initiative is a strategic response to evolving workforce demands, the need for improved service alignment, and the commitment to fostering a high-performance organisational culture.
About your role:
- Lead the Business Services Team, ensuring performance management, professional development, and compliance with CHHHS policies.
- Ensure monthly reconciliations, cost recoveries, and financial governance in line with Queensland Health policies.
- Provide high-level financial, workforce, and project consultation to the Executive Director People & Culture.
- Partnering with People & Culture leadership team to coordinate, deliver, monitor, and report on governance, performance and reporting initiatives.
- Supporting the divisional continuity of business activities and undertaking the duties of a continuity of business coordinator.
- Develop and implement a Risk Management Plan, ensuring adherence to financial, workforce, and WHS governance frameworks.
