An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Nurse Unit Manager or Team Leader (Mental Health Community Engagement) to join the Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services Team at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents.

Your opportunity:
- The Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services (WBMHSS) Community Engagement Team Leader or Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a new position funded under a Better Care Together enhancement and will provide leadership, operational management and clinical oversight of three crisis support spaces and Hospital and Health Service (HHS) wide specialist services inclusive of Early Psychosis, Co Responder, Multicultural workforce and Perinatal services.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7) or remuneration package value up to $172,615 p.a., comprising salary between $144,991 - $151,289 p.a. (HP5), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.). (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
