An exiting opportunity has become available to join the dynamic and innovative RoadTek Brisbane Operations team as an Operations Officer (Stores). This is your chance to play a pivotal role in supporting Queensland’s transport infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager in the Electrical team, you'll be at the heart of managing daily costing and financial services in relation to inventory operations, with efficiency and precision.

In the role of Operations Officer (Stores) you will manage and coordinate the receipting, storage, packaging and despatch of warehouse inventory within the business unit. You will manage the day-to-day costing/financial services and information in relation to inventory management.

Accountabilities include:
• Liaise and negotiate with internal and external customers and suppliers regarding the acquisition of goods and services.
•Monitor, analyse and report on the financial position of an inventory project and provide early advice to management of any deviations beyond predetermined limits.
•Undertake financial transactions reconciliations and costing using various departmental software packages for example, SAP, MYOB.
•Prepare financial documentation through the usage of various departmental software packages to ensure correct recording of financial transactions.
•Investigate, recommend and implement better methods of providing goods and services including working closely with the customer to ensure their needs are met.
•Process data entry of warehouse goods received using inventory management software.

Desirable requirements:
• A current, valid Queensland ‘MR Truck' class driver's licence or equivalent in order to carry out store deliveries.
• A current, valid Forklift Ticket / licence is also required.
• Ability to work both a morning and evening shift to meet the requirements of the morning and night crews.
